Airtel Callhome Call India at cheap rates

AirtelCallhome sometime back launched its One India plan in which it was charging some rental fees and rest for talktime. AirtelCallHome offers though was supposed to be 1 cent per min, however its effective calling rate to India was 1.6 cents per minute.

Now Airtel Call Home has modified the offer and instead of lowering the call rates, it has increased the call rates to India.


IndiaOne Max Airtel Plan:

You need to purchase credit worth $14.99, this includes the rental of $8.99 and Talktime worth $6.00. You will get 600 minutes so that your calling rate gets 1c/min when you call using Local Access. But the effective call rate to india is 2.5c/min. You need to use these minutes within 30 days of buying the product.

IndiaOne Neo Airtel Plan:

With India One Neo plan you need to spend $6.49, this includes a rental of $3.99 and Talktime worth $2.50. You get an incredible rate of 1c/min when you call using Local Access.
However you need to use these minutes within 15 days of buying the Airtel Voip plan.

Though the plan is good but I don't think it is good enough to lure the customers. AirtelCallHome still lagging behind in this free voip world.
