Skype Call forwarding in iPhone and iPod Touch

Another update from the voip gaint Skype. This update is regarding the use of Skype voip service in your iPhone/iPod Touch. Yes, Voip for iPod.

1. Now you can set up call forwarding from your iPhone or your iPod touch. It means that you can forward Skype calls to a phone number when you're not signed in to Skype. So you can pick up calls even when the Skype app isn't running on your device. Isnt that amazing..?

2. Skype has improved upon the voice quality when you make Skype calls (calls from Skype to Skype). This applies everywhere, for your iPhone, Skype application or even your iPod Touch.

3. Now you can send SMS using the Skype application in your iPhone or iPod touch.

PS: Skype lets you make free Skype-to-Skype calls, and save money with great value calls to landlines and mobiles. Calling is only available over a WiFi connection (in your iPhone/iPod), but all other features (SMS, IM and presence included) work over any mobile data connection too. Cool..huh..!!
