Skype already has a very big market and this feature will add more users to its service. Skype will forward a sms notification to its users whenever they receive a Voice to text message.
The only problem being the rate for this service. Converting your voice into a text message and sending it will prove costly to you. You will have to pay 25 cents for this Voice to SMS service.
Long voicemails could be spread out over as many as three messages. If the entire voicemail won't fit into three texts, then the message will be cut off.
Indeed a good voip service by Skype.
