A lot of people have already shifted to voip for making free phone calls. Some people still use their mobiles to send sms, and end up paying bills. Well, its time for those people to use available applications to send free sms from internet.
We have already talked about many websites offering sms. A few months back, orkut (social networking website) launched its application feature. There are lot of interesting applications. One of them being by Mycantos.
Application by Mycantos allows you to send unlimited sms to anywhere in India. You may send sms to any number. Well the application is named "SMS Me - Absolutely FREE SMS !!!"
If you are not registered with orkut, you are missing a lot. To send free unlimited sms using internet, you need to add the application. After that you have to enter your mobile number. They will send a verification code. (all this is done to stop spam).
Now you are ready to use the application and send unlimited sms to your friends and relatives. I personally use this application by Mycantos, sms reaches its destinations within few seconds. However, your mobile number is displayed to prevent fraud.
