Well we have covered so many post about using Iphone for making your Voip phone calls but just surfing around I came across people asking difference between iPhone 3G mobile phones and 2G mobile phones. So, I thought to cover a post about difference between iPhone 2G and 3G. And if you are planning to buy a iPhone, which Iphone 2G or Iphone 3G one should go for.
Well the difference bascially lies in 3G technology and 2G technology. 3G technoolgy means you can access the internet at a very high speep (speed on your processor is high) as compared to 2G where speed is a bit slow than 3G (though better than 1G). Its the speed your iphone connects with the network provider. The speed differs in video conference and network provider internet.
- iPhone 2G is heavier than the 3G.

- GPS Antenna of the 3G is for being used with Google Maps (or with other tracking apps downloadable from the App Store.
- 3G Network makes data downloads 3 times faster than 2G and the audio quality of the phone calls is better.
- In terms of price too, 3G is cheaper (subsidized).
3G is the latest technology in every terms, and it is better to buy the latest in the market. So, my vote goes to buying a 3G iphone.
