Aircel launched its startup kit for Delhi, call rates are cheap with lifetime validity. (No comments about connectivity as service is quite new).

Reliance Free local minutes on Postpaid Mobile

The Indian telecom war has again started. With the advent of new companies like Aircel, telecom providers have already started offering some very cheap and amazing calling deals.

Reliance has launched another plan for Postpaid Mobile customers. This is 800 minutes free talktime plan.

This pack is amazingly loaded Platinum 349 plan. You have to pay a monthly rental of just Rs 349 and you will be getting 800 minutes of free local talktime to mobiles every month.

Aircel Starts Calling Plans in Delhi

Now Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Reliance will face more competition. Aircel has launched its services in 23 circles in India.

Malaysian based Maxis group is investing its money in Aircel (its vehicle here). Maxis has plans of launching it 3G services in India. Its a good plan to first get hold into the market and then expand.

Today, the TV advertisements, Newspaper ads are full of Aircel. This clearly shows how much importance they are giving to publicity.

Maxis will bid in the 3G autions as they see lot of potential in Indian 3G market. Aircel has launched its plans in Delhi with very cheap rates.

Aircel has very cheap calling plans and will surely make other providers to lower their call rates. Apart from rates, Aircel also offers many other features. We will soon cover a post talking about various calling plans and rates offered by Aircel.

BSNL lowers mobile tariffs : 50 paisa local, STD, SMS

BSNL Price cut : Low Tariff
Well this news is from Chennai, TamilNadu, India. BSNL, state owned telecom provider has lowered its mobile tariff for making phone calls.

Under this new plan, BSNL is offering local and STD call at just 50 paise a minute across all the network, while the charges would be 20 and 30 paise for BSNL to BSNL.

BSNL has named this plan as India Golden fifty plan offering local and STD call at just 50 paise would be available from March 1. Golden Fifty plan would be available to consumers for a monthly rent of Rs 375 inclusive of taxes.

Indian telecom providers are actually forced to lower the call rates due to the strong competition. I just hope that voip providers bring new plans in India which will further help to reduce call rates. And the day is not far when you will be able to make free local, STD calls in India.
